Watch this page for What's New ______________________________________________________ Theology Of The Body For Teens  All high school youth are invited and highly encouraged to come discover God's plan for love and life. This program is based on the teachings of Blessed John Paul II and features video presentations by Jason & Cyrstalina Evart & Brian Cutler. It uses a mix of stories, real-life examples, activities, prayers and relevant references to the culture. It's not about a set of rules but rather is a guide that helps teens answer questions such as:   Who am I? What is my purpose in life? Why did God make me a male or female? How can I find happiness here on earth? How can I find love that really satisfies? and many many more.....    It helps us to learn to receive God's love so we can give & receive it with others in a way that is holy and good.  Sessions will meet on Fridays, July 12th & 26th, August 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd from 10:30 -1:30 in the Youth Room located in the Clairvaux building (lunch provided).  To register please contact Belinda at emcoast2002@yahoo.com or 446-3484 (after 5 pm please). ______________________  Oremus – A Guide To Catholic Prayer Give your prayer life a boost this spring!  Do you find it easy to pray?  Is prayer an integral part of your day?  Do you hear God's voice in your daily life, and know how to respond accordingly? For most of us prayer becomes a source of frustration as we struggle to calm our minds and find even a few minutes to set aside to pray.  In our busy lives prayer is seen as a luxury, when in reality it is at the foundation of a healthy spiritual life.  The good news is that you can overcome your difficulties with prayer, and it is easier than you might think!  Join us either Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 PM or Thursday mornings from 10-11:30 AM for eight weeks, as we discover the essentials of an effective and fruitful prayer life.  Following the Tradition of the Catholic Church and the wisdom of the saints, you will learn how to express yourself to God in prayer, and how to hear his voice.  Classes begin on Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25.  Cost is $15.00 for workbook and you will need a Bible.  To register, call the Catholic Faith Formation Center at 352-7662.
